Anti-racist visual toolkit

Listen Up Consultancy commissioned this series of illustrated cards for a toolkit about anti-racist practice in safeguarding. The cards are based on the Check Your Thinking idea I created with Dr Sophie Hallett and follow the same style to fit in as a piece of continued training for professionals.

The key themes and discussion points were formed by a stakeholder advisory group to make sure the content covered common anti-racist practice points and how they apply to safeguarding when working with children and young people. The illustrations on the front of the cards act as prompts to check your thinking and each back gives more information on areas such as intersectionality, stereotypes and how to have courageous conversations. You can find out more and download the resources here.
